Terms of use

Last updated 5 May 2026

These terms cover how this website may be used, and what you can — and can’t — expect from us when you use it. They’re short on purpose. If anything is unclear, please write to us.

Draft. These terms are a working draft prepared during the website rebuild. They should be reviewed by a UK-qualified solicitor before the site launches on its permanent domain.

About us

This site is operated by Richard Royle, sole proprietor, trading as Studio 67. Our physical address is Unit 19 & 20, The Parade Shops, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 1XJ. You can reach us at art@studio67shrewsbury.co.uk.

What this site is for

The site exists to share information about the gallery, the works on view, and the evening programme at 67 Lates. It’s also where you can request a reservation or send an enquiry about a piece.

Reservations and enquiries are requests, not contracts

When you fill in the “Reserve a Sherbourne” form, you’re asking us to hold a stool for you. We’ll come back within a day to confirm or suggest an alternative. The reservation is only confirmed when we reply to say so.

The same applies to artwork enquiries: clicking “Enquire to purchase” doesn’t commit you to anything, and our reply isn’t a binding offer. We reserve the right to withdraw a piece, change a price, or decline a sale at our discretion.

Pricing and availability

Prices shown next to artworks are guides at the time of writing. They may change without notice. A piece marked “Sold” on the site is no longer available, though we’re sometimes able to commission a similar work — just ask.

Copyright

All artworks on this site are © Richard Royle. The site itself, including its design, copy, and code, is © Richard Royle and the studio’s contractors. You’re welcome to share links to the site and to social-media-style snippets with attribution. Please don’t reproduce the artworks themselves, or substantial portions of the site copy, without written permission.

Acceptable use

While using this site, please don’t:

  • Use the enquiry or reservation forms to send abusive, fraudulent, or commercial-spam content
  • Attempt to bypass authentication or access areas not intended for public use
  • Scrape the site at a rate that interferes with other visitors
  • Reproduce site content (images or text) for commercial purposes without our permission

We may remove content, restrict access, or report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

Limits on our liability

We do our best to keep the site accurate and online, but we don’t guarantee that it’s always available or that the information on it is free of errors. If you rely on something on the site and it turns out to be wrong, the most we’ll be liable for is the price you paid for any piece directly affected. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

Links to other sites

Where the site links out (for example, to our Instagram), we’re not responsible for the content or behaviour of those external sites. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page is the easiest way to tell. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
